Same-Day Dental Crowns
What is a dental crown?
A dental crown is a prosthetic cap or covering that encases the entire surface of a damaged tooth. The crown restores your tooth to its original shape and size and is custom made to match the rest of your smile. Crowns both protect and strengthen your tooth structure and often save teeth that couldn’t be restored by fillings or would otherwise have been extracted. Crowns can also be used to replace teeth when they’re used atop an implant, or as anchors for larger restorations like a bridge. With proper care and good oral hygiene, your crown could last 5-15 years.
One appointment
Traditionally, getting a dental crown requires at least two appointments with waits of up to several weeks in between.
